Objectives
  • Guide the client into a grounded, mentally focused state as the session begins.

  • Direct their awareness toward the body and the principles of Pilates breathing.

  • Encourage an easy, relaxed neck and shoulders throughout each breath.

  • Cultivate broad, expansive lateral rib‐cage breathing.

  • Gently lengthen and release the spinal extensors.

  • Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
