Spinal Flexors
Rectus Abdominis, External Oblique, Internal Oblique
Keep the spine in flexion as it articulates down to the box.

Hip Flexors
Iliopsoas, Rectus Femoris, Sartorius, Tensor Fasciae Latae, Pectineus
Hold the legs in the air against gravity.
Lift the legs back up in teaser.

Shoulder Flexors
Anterior Deltoid, Pectoralis Major, Coracobrachialis, Biceps Brachii
Resist the springs when in teaser and as the spine articulates down and up.
Engages greater as the arms reach forward when articulating the spine up.

Other Muscles at Play
Anterior & posterior spinal stabilizers provide lumbo-pelvic and spinal stabilization.
Scapular abductors (protraction) allow the scapulae to separate but work with the scapular depressors, so the shoulders don't hunch.
Knee extensors straighten the knees and keep them straight.
Hip extensors & spinal extensors lift the body when down to stretch in extension.
Plantar flexors keep the feet pointed.
Objectives
Enhance the strength of your abdominal muscles and back extensors while keeping the hip flexors under control.
Enhance the midline connection to the core as the body moves with control from flexion to extension and back up.
Enhance spinal support and articulation down and up on the box.
Enhance your coordination and balance on top of the box with the straps.
Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
