Resist the springs as the legs open.
Close the legs together.
Encourages the midline connection into the core.

Other Muscles at Play
Anterior & posterior spinal stabilizers provide lumbo-pelvic stabilization so the tailbone can stay anchored and keep the back from arching.
Hip extensors keep the legs at a 45-degree angle against the tension of the straps.
Hip abductors open the legs in the circle, though the adductors work harder to resist the springs.
Knee extensors keep the knees straight.
Plantar flexors keep the feet pointed.
Shoulder extensors press the arms firmly into the carriage to help stabilize the body.
Scapular depressors keep the shoulders down away from the ears.
Objectives
Stabilize the trunk of the body by deeply contracting the abdominal muscles while moving the legs open and closed.
Stabilize the trunk and pelvis while engaging and stretching the hip adductor muscles.
Keep the arms strong and positioned alongside the body for support, ensuring a connection with the mid-back to aid in controlling leg movements.
Emphasis is placed on core control and pelvic stability as the legs open and close with minimal to no movement of the carriage.
To maintain pelvic stability, keep tailbone anchored.
Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
