Pull the carriage in with the hip flexors and extensors.
Maintain the integration of the midline connection for balance.

Hip Flexors
Iliopsoas, Rectus Femoris, Sartorius, Tensor Fasciae Latae, Pectineus
Work on the back leg to control the carriage going out with the hip adductors.
Work on the back leg to assist the hip adductors to pull the carriage closed.

Gluteus Maximus, Hamstrings
Work on the front leg to control the carriage going out with the hip adductors.
Work on the front leg to assist the hip adductors to pull the carriage closed.

Other Muscles at Play
Anterior & posterior spinal stabilizers provide lumbo-pelvic & spinal stabilization.
Knee extensors keep the knees straight.
Shoulder abductors resist gravity and keep the arms elevated in a T.
Scapular depressors keep the shoulders down away from the ears.
Plantar flexors keep the heels lifted.
Objectives
Enhance deep abdominal control to stabilize the trunk while smoothly moving the carriage using the hip adductors, extensors and flexors.
Ensure trunk stabilization by engaging your abdominal muscles during smooth, upright movements, especially while pushing away from the steady base.
Challenges balance and stability while standing on the moving carriage.
Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
