Objectives
Strengthen the shoulder adductors and extensors to build balanced upper‐body power and improve control in posterior arm work.
Increase awareness of the arms as they work behind the body, maintaining clarity and control even when the movement shifts out of the visual field.
Use the co‐contraction of the abdominals and spinal extensors to sustain propel torso alignment, creating a stable central axis.
Engage the scapular depressors to anchor the shoulders while the shoulder adductors and extensors generate the movement, supporting clean mechanics.
Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
