Objectives
  • Use the co‐contraction of the abdominals and spinal extensors to maintain proper alignment of the body while standing, creating a stable central axis for the legs to work from.

  • Increase hip‐adductor strength and control while engaging the knee extensors to support clear alignment through the lower limbs.

  • Use the hip rotators to maintain external rotation from the hip joint as the legs straighten, with the sartorius assisting in holding the lateral rotation.

  • Engage both the knee flexors and extensors to promote balanced, well‐coordinated movement through the entire leg.

  • Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
