Objectives
  • Use the co‐contraction of the abdominals and spinal extensors to maintain proper alignment of the body while standing, creating a stable central axis for the lower limbs.

  • Increase knee stability by engaging the hip adductors to support the inner line of the legs and maintain clear alignment through the knees.

  • Use the hip rotators to maintain external rotation from the hip joint as the legs straighten, with the sartorius assisting in sustaining the lateral rotation.

  • Strengthen the knee flexors and extensors to promote balanced, well‐coordinated movement and support through the entire leg.

  • Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
