Objectives
Stretch the psoas, quadriceps, and other hip flexors and knee extensors to lengthen the entire front line of the hip and thigh.
Use the co‐contraction of the abdominal and back extensor muscles to maintain proper torso organization as the stretch occurs.
Engage the deep abdominals to stabilize the torso, keeping the pelvis steady and preventing compensatory movement throughout the range.
Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
