Objectives
Teach proper shoulder placement in trunk flexion by organizing the scapulae and maintaining a stable, supported upper body as the spine rounds forward.
Develop abdominal strength to support the flexed position and guide the movement with control.
Use the co‐contraction of the hip extensors and abdominals to maintain pelvic stability, preventing the pelvis from shifting as the spine articulates.
Teach spinal articulation by encouraging sequential movement through the vertebrae, creating smooth, intentional flexion.
Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
