Objectives
  • Stretch the piriformis, gluteus medius, and the other deep hip rotators to improve mobility through the posterior hip and create more freedom in rotation and hip mechanics.

  • Use the co‐contraction of the abdominal and back extensor muscles to maintain proper torso organization as the stretch occurs.

  • Engage the deep abdominals to stabilize the torso, keeping the pelvis steady and preventing compensatory movement throughout the range.

  • Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
