Objectives
  • Stabilizes the spine in a side lying position by challenging the torso to remain steady against the dynamic movement of the legs, reinforcing strong lumbo-pelvic and trunk control.

  • Activates the hip abductors and adductors to keep both legs at the same height against gravity.

  • Trains coordinated stabilization of the trunk, scapula, supporting arm, and shoulder.

  • Mobilizes the hips through controlled flexion and extension.

  • Challenges the endurance of the trunk, scapular, arm, and shoulder stabilizers to sustain alignment and control.

  • Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
