Objectives
  • Stabilizes the trunk through spinal articulation while maintaining steady support from the scapulae and arms.

  • Mobilizes the spine through sequential articulation and the femurs within the pelvis through controlled movement.

  • Teaches precise sequencing of the spine—tail to mid‐back during the rollover and mid‐back to tail during the roll down.

  • Challenges the endurance of the stabilizing muscles in the scapulae, shoulders, and arms throughout the movement.

  • Refines coordination by integrating leg movement with the articulated motion of the spine.

  • Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
