Objectives
  • Engages the obliques and multifidus to prevent unwanted rotation of the hips and trunk as the legs move in a bicycle pattern.

  • Stabilizes the trunk, scapulae, shoulders, and arms to maintain steady upper‐body support.

  • Mobilizes the hips and knees through controlled flexion and extension.

  • Challenges the endurance of the stabilizing muscles in the trunk, scapulae, shoulders, and arms throughout the movement.

  • Integrates breath with the bicycle action to refine coordination and rhythm.

  • Focus on breathing to synchronize the movement.
